New York Road Runners Selects brightroom and Action Sports International to Photograph the ING New York City Marathon 2004
New York, June 2, 2004 – Allan Steinfeld, president and CEO of New York Road Runners (NYRR) and race director of the ING New York City Marathon, has announced brightroom, Inc., and Action Sports International (ASI) as the official participant photographers for the ING New York City Marathon beginning in 2004.
The ING New York City Marathon, the premier event of NYRR, is one of the world’s most renowned road races, covering 26.2 miles through New York City’s five boroughs. brightroom and ASI will photograph each of the approximately 35,000 marathon participants at numerous locations before, during, and after the event. Participants will be able to view, share, and order high-quality photo, video, and DVD products utilizing brightroom’s proprietary system for indexing and posting images online.
