brightroom, Muddy Buddy and Land Rover Develop Co-Branded Photo Marketing Program

July 25, 2008 - Fort Worth, Texas. – brightroom has partnered with Muddy Buddy and Land Rover to create a turn-key marketing solution for Land Rover Certified Pre-Owned, enabling them to leverage professional photography by brightroom at the Muddy Buddy Race Series into a multi-tier marketing program targeting the event participants. Participants in the Muddy Buddy races receive several favorable impressions to the Land Rover brand including a customized HTML email and an oversized four color postcard, including dynamic content such as the participant’s individual race photo and a map to the nearest Land Rover Certified Pre-Owned dealer.

brightroom worked closely with Muddy Buddy and Land Rover to create a comprehensive program that encourages participants to respond to a brief survey by offering a complimentary digital postcard that the consumer can download, print or share with family and friends. The entire experience carries the Land Rover and Muddy Buddy feel, including realistic mud splatters and logo treatments. Every participant that fills out the survey also receives a 5x7 inch 4 color two-sided direct mail postcard with special offers from Land Rover. Survey data and related web traffic details are available to Muddy Buddy and Land Rover and each postcard sent includes a unique tracking code that is used to determine program effectiveness. The Muddy Buddy Ride and Run Series is owned by the newly formed Competitor Group, Inc. and was created in 1999. The series has grown to nine events in 2008 and this season over 20,000 participants and 2,000 kids will participate in the Muddy Buddy and the Mini Muddy Buddy.
